How We Gather Information
There are several places on this website where the visitor may provide us with personal information. This information may come to us through order forms, application forms, survey forms or email subscription lists. In filling out these forms you may be asked for contact information (name, address, telephone number, email address), financial information (credit card numbers) and demographic information (age, gender, education level, income level, etc.).
As with most other websites, our web servers record the Internet Protocol (IP) address of each visitor. This IP address tells us from which domain you are visiting (for instance aol.com), but not your email address. We use the information to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer the website more effectively and to gather broad demographic information.
This site utilizes cookies to keep track of the visitor's shopping cart and for other purposes.
What We Do With Information
We use the contact information to send the visitor new information about the Arvada Center and its programs. The visitor's contact information may be used to contact the visitor when necessary. The Arvada Center does occasionally share its mailing lists, but not our emailing lists, with other non-profit organizations for mutually beneficial programs. We do not rent, sell or exchange our mailing or email lists with for-profit entities.
The visitor's financial information is used to execute purchase and donation transactions. We share this information with credit card and check processing organizations as necessary to complete the transactions. The Arvada Center does not retain the identifying financial account information once a transaction is completed.
With every email you receive, you will have the option to opt-out of our email lists. You may also call the Box Office at 720-898-7200 during business hours to have your information edited or removed from our mailbox ("snail mail") marketing or email marketing. You may also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org requesting editing and/or removal from our marketing efforts.

Give By Cell Data Collection
SMS/TEXT communications – When a mobile phone user sends and receives SMS/text messages to or from the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities via our third-party vendor by texting a keyword to a short code phone number - Guide By Cell (GBC), also known as Give By Cell (GBC), GBC may collect and maintain information associated with those messages, such as the phone number, the wireless carrier associated with the phone number, the content of the message, and the date and time of the transaction.
Dial-in audio service – When a mobile phone user makes a call into our dial-in audio service provided by GBC, GBC captures the caller ID of the user. This is done to authenticate the mobile phone user, track usage and provide data to the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities with whom the mobile phone user is affiliated and/or visiting while using this dial-in audio service.
Upon request, GBC will provide mobile phone user data to the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. GBC may share mobile phone numbers, but not account holder names, with the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities may also collect other information like name or email address in our text-to-donate applications, but that information would be provided by the mobile phone user at the time of service (sending the text), and therefore, the mobile phone user would be opting-in to the information collection at time of service. The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities may then communicate to the opted-in mobile phone user via email or text message in future communications.
