Joan Baez remains a musical force of nature whose influence is incalculable. Her earliest recordings fed a host of traditional ballads into the rock vernacular.  If ever a new collection of songs reflects the momentous times in which Joan finds herself these days, Day After Tomorrow is that record, her first new studio album in five years.

Featuring 10-12 musicians, Pink Martini performs its multilingual repertoire on concert stages and with symphony orchestras around the world. Their debut album Sympathique was released in 1997 and quickly became an international phenomenon. In November 2010 the band released Joy To The World a festive, multi-denominational holiday album featuring songs from around the globe. In January 2012, bandleader Thomas Lauderdale recorded the Charlie Chaplin song Smile with 94-year-old legend Phyllis Diller; which will be released on a future album.

Toad the Wet Sprocket has been the name of the four piece California rock band consisting of lead singer Glen Phillips, guitarist Todd Nichols, bassist Dean Dinning, and drummer Randy Guss. From 1989-1998, they made 5 studio albums which combined sold over four million copies, had five major radio hits, and won over audiences across North America and Europe. Toad the Wet Sprocket are currently in the studio with producer Mikal Blue, and fans can look forward to a new release and extensive tour in 2013.

The amphitheater is also an intimate setting where no patron is more than 100 feet from the stage. This beautiful outdoor venue features covered, fixed seating for 600 people, room on the lawn for up to 1,000 more and plenty of space for picnics.

Please be advised that all patrons, including children, need a ticket for concert entry

Please be advised that we no longer reprint concert tickets.

All Events Held Rain or Shine

Summer concerts will still be held in the amphitheater. All events are held rain or shine and because of this we cannot give refunds, credits, or exchanges for summer events.

Food and Beverages

In compliance with City of Arvada regulations please do not bring alcohol beverages or glass containers. Wine and beer service is available at each event.

You may bring your own picnic dinner into the outdoor amphitheater, or enjoy our barbecue plate and picnic items available for purchase from our concession area located in the plaza. Concessions open at 6PM.  Coolers will be allowed in the Amphitheater: however as lawn seating begins to fill you may be asked to remove your coolers to your car prior to the performance start time. The center grounds and picnic areas are open all day.

Event Times

Please check your ticket for when the Amphitheater gates open. These times are NOT the same for all concerts.

General Admission Lawn

If you have tickets for general admission lawn seating, you are welcome to bring your own blanket to sit on, but NO CHAIRS will be allowed into the amphitheater.

Free Parking

As always parking is ample and free.

Metropolitan Jazz OrchestraJazzFest at Arvada Center , the Rocky Mountain region’s premier 18-pc jazz orchestra, recently celebrated their 10th anniversary as a performing group. The MJO, known for their diverse repertoire, has been a repeat Arvada Center performer during recent SummerFest performances including a performance of the original Miles Davis’ “Sketches of Spain”. The MJO is excited to be sharing the inaugural JazzFest concert with Hazel Miller and Neil Bridge 7+ with Karen Lee.

The MJO will open the evening with a concert of sizzling, cutting edge tunes including vocals by Suzanne Morrison and Doug Barta.

to provide the music for “The Birth of Rock And Roll”. While this style of music is not new to MJO, this setting as the live, on-stage band joined by the talented Ballet Ariel group promises to be a fun, exciting challenge for all.

The ‘Birth of Rock and Roll’ ballet tells the amazing story of musical and cultural revolution from the 1930s to the 1950s in America.  Told through the eyes of a traveling musician, and danced to swing era songs, jump and electric blues, and early rock & roll, this ballet will be fun and exciting for all.  The Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra’s live on-stage music for the ballet will have the audience dancing in their seats.
