Terms and Conditions for entry into the 2017 Fine Art Market Application
Fine Art Market Information:
The Exhibition program’s annual fundraiser provides a unique and convenient shopping experience for patrons during the holiday season. The show and sale features more than 100 acclaimed Colorado artists working in a variety of media. Participating artists are both invited and juried. The Arvada Center staff oversees all of the displays and artist’s sales. The Arvada Center will retain a 40% commission for all artwork sold during the show and sale.
Art Market Applicants:
There is a $25, non-refundable jury fee. If selected to participate in the Art Market, an additional $20 processing/handling fee is assessed. Applications are juried by Arvada Center Staff and Community members.
Application Deadline: All applications must be received by 9am, Monday July 31, 2017. Applications that are received after the deadline will not be viewed.
July 31, 9 a.m. -- Deadline for applications
August 18 -- Notifications emailed to applicants
November 17 -- Artwork Drop-off at the Arvada Center 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
November 30 -- Art Market Opening Reception, 5-9 p.m.
December 17 -- Last Day of Art Market
December 20 -- Pickup unsold artwork 9 a.m. - 6 p.m
· Open to all artists over age 18 currently living in Colorado
· Submission to this Exhibition and Sale constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant to the conditions set forth in this prospectus. Submitting an application and application fee in no way guarantees acceptance into the show and sale. Arvada Center reserves the right to final decisions, and reserves the right to not accept any work that is misrepresented. The Arvada Center may use your image(s) for marketing purposes, and will credit the artist in that case.
