The ArvadaCenterfor the Arts and Humanities Announces its
2010 Summer Camps
ARVADA, CO– The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities is proud to announce its 2010 summer camp programs. These inspiring and creative camps offer experiences in a variety of subjects including ceramics, dance, drama, humanities, music, photography, & visual arts! Programs are designed for kids to learn new skills, discover new interests, and most importantly, have fun! Registration begins in March and sessions lengths will vary from one to five weeks, starting June through August.
Arvada Center Summer Camps also include activities perfect for children of working parents. Camps run from 9:00 a.m.– noon and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., but students may also sign up for a Lunch-Bunch session from noon– 1:00 p.m.and/or an After Camp Program from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.(children bring their own sack lunch or snack). These additional sessions will include supervised activities for the all-day camper.
The ArvadaCenteroffers a conveniently coordinated schedule of our most popular Summer Camps that provide a full day of activities for children and students – called Awesome Art Packs. These Awesome Art Packs are a creative and practical way to give kids a multidisciplinary arts experience this summer.

ARTSTART:
· ArtStart, introduces young campers to drama, dance, music and the visual arts, ages 4-5
· Art Sampler, a more advanced version of ArtStart, ages 6-8
DRAMA CAMPS:
· Drama Camp: Fairytales Really Do Come True, ages 6-8
· Drama Camp: Trifles Light as Air,an original comedy inspired the work of William Shakespeare, ages 8-14
· Musical Theater Camp: Cinderella,ages 8-12
· Musical Theater Camp: The Pirates of Penzance, ages 7-12
· Musical Theater Teen Intensive: All Shook Up, ages 12-18
· Improv Comedy, ages 9-12 and 13-17
· Storytelling, ages 6-8 & 9-12
· Clowning Camp, ages 5-8
· On-Camera Acting, ages 8-13 & 14-18
· Play in a Day, ages 6-8 & 9-12
· Audition Camp for Young Adults, ages 13-19
