ARVADA, CO – The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities presents HONK!, the Children’s Theater fall production based on the classic children’s story The Ugly Duckling, running October 8 – January 3, 2010.

HONK!, winner of the Oliver Award for Best Musical, comes to the Arvada Center. This musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's story, The Ugly Duckling, brings a contemporary hipness to being "not so cool as everyone else". This lavish song-and-dance version of the classic tale provides some hilarious insights into discovering that beauty lies within us and that being different should be cause for celebration. Since everyone, at some time, felt like an ugly duckling, this musical sensation is perfect for everyone.
