The Electrics department is looking for creative, driven individuals who have a passion for lighting live entertainment. Reporting to the Lighting Director, this position will support bringing artistic visions to life by assisting with aspects of lighting design, installation, programming, and operating lighting consoles for all of the various programming events at the Arvada Center. This is a nonexempt position earning $18.50 per hour for 30-40 hours per week for the duration of the annual agreement, in addition to 401k and eligibility for Medical and Vision insurance plans, paid sick time, and 5 floating holidays starting July 1, 2024. Additional annual agreements may be offered at the end of the fiscal year.

Reporting to the Assistant Education Director this hourly position assists students with cognitive, developmental, and/or physical disabilities, in addition to students who need general support in performing arts and visual arts summer camp programming at the Arvada Center. One-on-one aides also support summer camp instructors in creating inclusive and nurturing learning environments. Students may range in age from 5-16 years old. One-on-one aides are scheduled for weekly work with students from 9:00 am-4:00 Monday-Friday throughout the ten weeks of summer camp programming spanning early June through mid-August. This is a part-time, nonexempt position earning $25.00 per hour and is eligible for paid sick leave.

Reporting to the Director of Galleries and/or the Exhibition Manager, this hourly position assists in the preparation, design, installation, transportation, communication, implementation, and interpretation of Arvada Center art exhibitions. This position requires flexibility to work up to 40 hours a week (M-F 9-5) for 2-3 weeks when changing over exhibitions (none to limited working hours during exhibition runs). This is a part-time, nonexempt position earning $18.50-$20.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, and is eligible to earn paid sick time.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position acts as the primary support for the administration department. The Admin Coordinator assists the team by acting as the primary lead in office management duties and coordination of the facility’s master calendar as well as partnering with HR and Accounting to act as a primary back-up and assist in the day-to-day operations of both areas. Reporting to the Director of Education, this position works collaboratively with Education staff to coordinate all aspects of the Arvada Center Dance program including the Dance Academy, General Dance classes, and the Arvada Center Dance Theatre. Responsibilities include providing, coordinating, and planning the dance schedule, coordinating and planning one fall and two spring dance concerts, communicating with dance parents and students both in person and via email, efficient and courteous customer service. Responsible for supporting and contributing to revenue sales goals through the development of dance program awareness, attendance, and class offerings. This position is a strong advocate for promoting the values of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) throughout the organization. Reporting to the Director of Production, this position oversees all aspects of sound engineering including in-house productions, touring productions, concerts, and related activities and events. The Audio Director hires, trains, and supervises audio personnel.
