Making Musical Miracles

Now – how about a little taste of what Miracle has to offer?

Musical Director David Nelhs and Artistic Director Rod Lansberry have already been working hard on the music of Miracle that makes this production so special… in more ways than one!

In late September and early October, part of the cast of the musical “Miracle on 34th Street” recorded a song from the production that will be used on the ”Carols for a Cure” annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BCEFA).

These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. The Arvada Center was the only selected Regional Theater asked to participate in this years Carol for A Cure project!

Featured on the track from the production, “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” are Heather Doris, Shannan Steele, and Valerie Hill and choreographer Piper Arpan (who performs the tap sequence on the track, along with Tracey Zimmerman). Other Arvada Center staff of Audio Engineer Grant Evenson, Musical Director David Nehls and the Arvada Center staff musicians completed the ensemble for performance and recording
