Clear Fork Cider is a small, hand-crafted cidery in Wheat Ridge on Arvada's southern border. At Clear Fork we make our cider from apples and pears grown in our neighbors’ yards, Colorado orchards we own or lease, and the Pacific Northwest. Our ciders are dry and always celebrate the flavor of the different apples that go into them. In many ways, they’re more like fine wine than other ciders you may have tasted. We take four to eight months to go from apples to bottle, but to us the time is worth it.
Our passion for the local community and taking a moment to enjoy the finer things in life make the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities a great partnership – we welcome all who are part of the Arvada Center community to stop by, say hello, and share a cider!
We’ve continued making cider during the pandemic to keep up with demand for many of our customers’ favorites, like River Run, Dolgo Sour and Big Britches (Flagships), and also branched out to experiment with Limited Releases like Bog Monstah (cider with cranberry and maple syrup), hopped cider, coriander-honey cider, and mint basil with locally sourced infusions. We're especially proud of our 2021 Cellar Series line-up. It includes a fortified cider, Pommeau; Feral Pear made from tasty wild pears grown and hand-picked in our Lewis, CO orchard; and a single variety Gravenstein made from Denmark's national apple! You can find Flagship ciders in local retail outlets, but our Limited Releases and Cellar Series are only available at our Tasting Room.
We expanded our Tasting Room into the parking lot last summer to allow for safe social distancing, and it was so much fun that we've filed to make it a permanent feature. Our current hours are Friday (4-7) and Saturday (3-7) but we'll be expanding those soon and adding more days when we finish our patio expansion. Please stop by and see us!
Cheers,
Clear Fork Cider
