James and the Giant Peach

September 19 - November 10, 2006

Book by Roald Dahl
Adapted by David Wood
Directed by Christopher Willard

Ideal for ages 3 and older

When James Henry Trotter is sent to live with his horribly cruel Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker, he is not a happy little boy. Life is very hard for poor James until one day he meets an old man who gives him a mysterious sack of magic squirmy things! When James accidentally spills the bag onto the ground near an old peach tree, incredible things begin to happen. Magically, the peach begins to grow and James finds himself inside with giant-sized bugs. With his new friends, Old Grasshopper, Ladybug, Centipede, Spider and Earthworm, James sets off on a once-in-a-lifetime journey.
