Cantilena encompasses lyrical songs and melodies of many ages, primarily from the Middle Ages and the early Renaissance. The repertoire of Harrison and Linger emphasizes Medieval chant, secular song, and Renaissance lute song, along with contemporary pieces that use ancient techniques and harmonies.
