The Mercury Ensemble, in collaboration with the Alliance Française of Denver, will present Stravinsky’s “Soldier’s Tale.”The work is presented with actors from Alliance and Co. and an instrumental septet from the Mercury Ensemble in a special French and English production. Stravinsky’s play with musical accompaniment, set in the first world war, comments on conscience, the vicissitudes of life and fate. It is filled with both humor and poignancy.
