Supporting the Arvada Center

The Arvada Center is a place of amazing opportunities. It’s a place where high-quality art is presented or created almost daily. Whether we are talking about the performing arts or the visual arts, there’s something for everyone. As the Arvada Center increases its programming in the humanities, music and dance, you’ll begin to see how the arts create and define a community. We are fortunate to have so many people who care about what we do here. Your participation is the key to the success of the Arvada Center. Here are ways you can contribute to the Arvada Center.

Outright Gifts

Outright gifts may be made in the form of cash, check or credit card. We accept most major credit cards. A donation to the Arvada Center can be designated to any program or project of your choice; however, the greatest need is funding for General Operating Support. This allows the staff at the Center the flexibility to designate funds where they are needed most depending on the time of year, if there is a change in programming or if a new opportunity arises to offer new programming. All donations go directly toward programming at the Center, unless you designate your gift to a capital project.

Become a GEM (Give Every Month)

Become part of our newest giving program. As a GEM donor, you’ll be Giving Every Month to the Center. Your monthly gift will be automatically charged to your debit or credit card. You can sign up easily, and it provides the Center with income all year long. For as little as $25 per month, you can enjoy all the benefits of The Marquee Club throughout the year. If you haven’t experienced The Marquee Club, this is the perfect opportunity to enhance your Arvada Center experience.

Multi-year Pledges

You can also make your gift to the Arvada Center through a multi-year pledge, payable over a period not exceeding five years. Capital gifts or endowment gifts may be made this way and combined with gifts for general operating support.

Gifts of Real Estate or Tangible Personal Property

Many donors find that gifts of real estate or tangible personal property best advance their larger philanthropic planning goals. These gifts are valued at the appraised market value on the date the property is transferred.

Bequests, Charitable Trusts, and Other Planned Gift Techniques

Gifts may be made through a will, charitable trust, life insurance policy, or beneficiary designation in a retirement plan. Estate commitments such as these provide donors the opportunity to make significant charitable contributions to the Arvada Center while taking advantage of current tax incentives and meeting future needs of their families. If you have already designated the Arvada Center as a beneficiary in your will, please let us know. Documenting this through the Center ensures that your future gift will be used the way you intended.

Corporate Sponsorships

Corporate gifts can be allocated for sponsorship of a performing arts production, exhibition, or program. Corporate sponsorships are also available for the run of one production or the run of an entire season. We also have sponsorship opportunities for Children’s Theater, summer concerts, gallery publications and artist talks.

Naming Opportunities

There are several naming opportunities at the Center. You can name a seat in a theater or you can name the theater itself. Other naming opportunities include the Main Stage Theater, Black Box Theater, the outdoor amphitheater, and even the Arvada Center building. The galleries, classrooms, dance studios, lobbies and outdoor spaces can be named as well.  Most of these naming opportunities are in perpetuity, but a few are established with a five-year contract.
