The Arvada Center received a record 29 nominations from the Colorado Theater Guild’s Henry Awards in 2009. Leading all companies, the Arvada Center received 12 awards including:

For the second consecutive year, the Arvada Center took the lead with 16 finalists for the Denver Post’s Ovation Awards. The Arvada Center won the following awards:

COLORADO CLAY 2006
This prestigious juried art exhibition showcases the best contemporary ceramics artwork in Colorado. Four artists out of the fifteen total selected to participate in this year's event are on the staff of the Arvada Center Ceramics Studio. They are: Bebe Alexander (Honorable Mention), Katie Martineau-Caron (Juror's Award), Amy Chavez (First Place, The Award of Excellence in Ceramics) and Kazu Oba.

2001 VSA arts / MetLife CULTURAL ACCESS AWARD
Arvada Center Receives Award for its Commitment to Programs and Facilities for People with Disabilities
The award includes a cash prize of $5,000 and commerative sculpture created by VSA arts artist Wayne Forbes entitled Anima Rising. Arvada Center Accessibility Programming will also be featured in the upcoming Guide to Best Practices in Cultural Accessrn scheduled for the spring.

The Arvada Center's Children's Theater was the receipent of this award on September 14, 2001 for continued excellence in Children's Theatre.

WESTWORD BEST OF DENVER 2001 AWARDS: DENVER POST CHARITIES GRANT
The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities received a $35,000 grant from Denver Post Charities, a fund of the Robert R. McCormick Tribune Foundation to support programming that positively impacts children. The grant will be used to support the Center's children's theater and Arts Day programs, which serve nearly 70,000 children each year.

LMC COMMUNITY FOUNDATION'S 2000 HEALTHY COMMUNITY AWARDr
The Arvada Center received one of three 2000 Healthy Community Awards given by the LMC Community Foundation. In addition to a plaque award, the Center received a $5,000 cash award. The award, titled "Our Children, Our Future," recognizes the Arvada Center for its commitment to advancing the well-being of the community, and its outstanding efforts in promoting multidimensional health in children. WESTWORD BEST OF DENVER 2000 AWARDS:

EL POMAR FOUNDATION - William I. Howbert Award for Excellence in Arts and Humanities
in addition to a crystal award, which will be displayed at the Center, the Arvada Center received a cash prize of $12,500 at the annual Awards for Excellence banquet.
