Scenic and Costume Designers
The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities is looking for additional experienced Scenic and Costume Designers for the 2018/2019 Season of plays, musicals and children’s theatre. Season titles will be announced in early April. The Performing Arts Department, a division of the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities is accepting Applications for the position of Production Electrician.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reading, interpreting, and executing stage lighting plots and various paperwork;. (Hook-ups and instrument schedules.)
- Cleaning and maintenance of instruments, equipment, and all work areas.
- Wiring electrical elements on scenery and props, costumes, etc.
- Hanging, circuiting, and focusing lighting instruments.

The Philanthropy Assistant at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will further the mission of the Arvada Center by providing fundraising support for the Center’s development team within the Office of Advancement. The Philanthropy Assistant is responsible for administrative operations of the department, including donor cultivation and stewardship activities, gift processing, donor acknowledgment, and donor database management. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Philanthropy. This is a part-time variable position.
