All Pete the Cat wants to do is jam. This groovy, guitar-playing, skateboarding cat finds himself placed in a loving home after a life on the streets. The Biddle family is excited to have him, and Pete quickly realizes that he and the son Jimmy Biddle couldn’t be more different. Despite that, they become fast pals, and Pete helps Jimmy find his creative side on an adventure in his VW bus. Winning their hearts and teaching them how to jam, Pete the Cat brings out the rock star in all of them.
Based on the popular children’s book series by James and Kimberly Dean, Pete the Cat’s themes of creativity, resilience, and growth mindset are a perfect fit for students in grades K-5.
