Call For Entry - HOME: States of Belonging

Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Photo-Based Work - In partnership with Colorado Photographic Arts Center and Month of Photography

Exhibition Dates: January 14th - March 28th, 2027

Call for Entry Dates: July 17th - October 12th, 2026

HOME: States of Belonging brings together contemporary photo-based artists whose work explores the idea of home as something personal and constantly changing. Rather than focusing on home as a single place, the exhibition looks at how it is shaped by identity, memory, movement, family, work, and community.

This juried exhibition hopes to includes a wide range of photographic practices, such as photography, video, collage, installation, and work that uses archives or alternative image-making processes. Some artists focus on specific places, while others explore emotional, imagined, or inherited ideas of home.

States of Belonging introduces the theme of HOME as something shaped by both personal experience and place.

2026 Holiday Fine Art Market

The 40th Annual Fine Art Market is scheduled for November 27 - December 13, 2026. The Art Market will be held in the Main Gallery at the Arvada Center.

The Fine Art Market serves as the AC Galleries’ annual fundraiser and provides a unique shopping experience during the holiday season. The sale features more than 100 acclaimed Colorado artists working in a variety of media. Participating artists are both invited and juried. The Arvada Center staff manages all of the displays and artist’s sales. Sales are completed using Square, and artists are required to submit their inventory sheets in a digital format

Entries for the Art Market will open up on June 1, 2026.
