The Arvada Center Dance department has a well-established reputation for its exemplary dance program and is known for its professional dance instructors who teach the love of dance as well as the skills.
The Arvada Center has been offering quality dance classes for 42 years and is now entering its tenth season as a Dance Academy offering excellent training in ballet, jazz, modern and tap dance classes for dancers 6 - 19 years of age.
The younger students, levels I & II, experience the joy of dance and music while learning discipline, technique and respect that is intrinsic to all forms of dance. As the dancers mature and improve they gradually take more classes each week to ensure a positive progression in their training. All Academy students have the opportunity to perform 6 times each spring on the Arvada Center's Main Stage Theatre. All of the Dance Academy's costumes are custom made and constructed by a dedicated team of volunteers.
The Academy's performing company, Arvada Center Dance Theatre, performs a third show each fall on the Main Stage Theatre, as well as several community outreach performances. Auditions are held in early June. For more information regarding auditions, please email Christina Noel Adcock at email@example.com.
Due to multi-level class enrollment discounting, Dance Academy classes are not available for online registration. Please call the Box Office at 720-898-7200 for questions and enrollment.
For the toddlers, teens, adults, and seniors we offer a variety of dance classes through our general dance classes. Toddler and pre-school dance classes are offered for ages 3-6 through the Art Start Dance program. Adult classes include ballet, jazz, tap, Pilates or a conditioning class.
Our dance instructors and Arvada Center Education Division are excited to have students in our building for dance classes this winter. To keep our students and staff safe, we have implemented a number of safety measures and class-size restrictions.
Follow the link below for a message from Christina Noel-Adcock and more details on facial coverings, class restrictions and more.
A completed and signed Participant Information and Medical Care Authorization form is required for each class a child attends.
Students attending Winter 2021 classes are required to sign a Healthy and Safety requirements document. Please read, sign and return to the Arvada Center. All students attending classes in person at the Center are required to sign this document and follow the requirements. Return it to Christina by email, or bring it to your first day of class.
Please fill out the form below so that we can communicate critical information about the program and spring dance performances. This information will not be shared or made public.
If your child is already enrolled in Winter Dance Academy, please use this link to pay their Ballet and/or Jazz performance fees.
