The Arvada Center Dance department has a well-established reputation for its exemplary dance program and is known for its professional dance instructors who teach the love of dance as well as the skills.
The Arvada Center has been offering quality dance classes for 42 years and is now entering its tenth season as a Dance Academy offering excellent training in ballet, jazz, modern and tap dance classes for dancers 6 - 19 years of age.
The younger students, levels I & II, experience the joy of dance and music while learning discipline, technique and respect that is intrinsic to all forms of dance. As the dancers mature and improve they gradually take more classes each week to ensure a positive progression in their training. All Academy students have the opportunity to perform 6 times each spring on the Arvada Center's Main Stage Theatre. All of the Dance Academy's costumes are custom made and constructed by a dedicated team of volunteers.
The Academy's performing company, Arvada Center Dance Theatre, performs a third show each fall on the Main Stage Theatre, as well as several community outreach performances. Auditions are held in early June. For more information regarding auditions, please email Christina Noel Adcock at cnoel@arvadacenter.org.
Due to multi-level class enrollment discounting, Dance Academy classes are not available for online registration. Please call the Box Office at 720-898-7200 for questions and enrollment. Spring 2021 classes go on sale on February 26 at 11:00 a.m.

For the toddlers, teens, adults, and seniors we offer a variety of dance classes through our general dance classes. Toddler and pre-school dance classes are offered for ages 3-6 through the Art Start Dance program. Adult classes include ballet, jazz, tap, Pilates or a conditioning class.
Our dance instructors and Arvada Center Education Division are excited to have students in our building for dance classes this winter. To keep our students and staff safe, we have implemented a number of safety measures and class-size restrictions.
