Honoring Dance Legends: Great teachers and choreographers of the 20th century

Each generation of dance artists builds upon the technical foundation that was taught to them
by their mentors and teachers. Over time, dance techniques and styles change, grow, and
evolve. The current generation of dancers and choreographers are growing upon the shoulders
of great teachers and choreographers of the 20th century.

Our Programs

Arvada Center Dance Academy

Students experience the joy of dance and music while learning discipline, technique and respect that is intrinsic to all forms of dance. As the dancers mature and improve they gradually take more classes each week to ensure a positive progression in their training. All Academy students have the opportunity to perform 6 times each spring.

Arvada Center Dance Theatre

The Academy's performing company, Arvada Center Dance Theatre, performs a third show each fall on the Main Stage Theatre, as well as several community outreach performances.

For more information regarding auditions, please email Christina Noel Adcock at cnoel@arvadacenter.org.

Dance Classes for Pre-K Kids

Enrolling your child in a dance class introduces them to the joys of dance and music. The Art Start Dance program offers classes for ages 3-6 in ballet, jazz, tap, creative movement and more.

Each class is filled with imaginative expression, and teaches kids balance, rhythm, dexterity, shapes - and fun!

General Classes for Adults

We offer a variety of dance classes for teens, adults, and seniors at a variety of experience levels. Brush up on your technique, or learn a new dance skill!

Adult classes include ballet, jazz, tap, Pilates or a conditioning class - as well as special class sessions like Flamenco.
