You Choose the Song

The Pierce Murphy Trio will play the song with the most votes live at the concert! Vote as many times as you wish. Here's the list of songs you can vote on!

1. "Lean On Me" by Bill Withers
2. 'A Change is Gonna Come" by Sam Cook
3. "Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles
4. "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears

Pierce Murphy is a vocalist/guitarist from Denver with a distinct approach to jazz and soul. From penthouse clubs in Hiroshima, Japan to neighborhood bars in Paris, he’s made his way around the world performing for captivated audiences.

The trio—his preferred format—fills out the classic vibe with acoustic upright bass and bebop drum kit. The sound calls to mind artists like Chet Baker, Bill Withers, and Amy Winehouse. Pierce performs original music in addition to jazz standards and reinterpreted modern pop and hip hop.
