Front Porch Series

Come Join Us on Our Front Porch

Come visit us on our "Front Porch" this summer! For several Saturdays in August and September, our Front Porch Series presents local solo and duet musical acts, food, and brews in a shady, beer-garden setting on our front plaza. Come enjoy great tunes and a chance to feel the magic of live music on a Colorado summer evening, in these intimate and socially distanced performances.

Whether you like bluegrass, fun covers of classic rock songs, or singer-songwriters whose lyrics seem to hit the mark on exactly what’s going on in the world right now, you’ll find great music to go with great cool drinks all throughout our Front Porch Series.

Seating is limited, so secure your seats to these special summer events now!

SOLD OUT Pierce Murphy Trio - August 8, 7:00 pm

Pierce Murphy is a vocalist/guitarist from Denver with a distinct approach to jazz and soul. From penthouse clubs in Hiroshima, Japan to neighborhood bars in Paris, he’s made his way around the world performing for captivated audiences.

The trio—his preferred format—fills out the classic vibe with acoustic upright bass and bebop drum kit. The sound calls to mind artists like Chet Baker, Bill Withers, and Amy Winehouse. Pierce performs original music in addition to jazz standards and reinterpreted modern pop and hip hop.

SOLD OUT John Statz, with Kate Hannington on keys - August 15, 7:00 pm

One of the more prolific thirty-something songwriters working in the Folk/Americana genre today, John Statz has released nine studio albums and performed all over North America and Europe over the course of his fourteen-year career. The Boston Globe has called John’s music electric, urgent folk; aching, sweet country-rock while American Songwriter has said that he writes the kind of songs that float through your mind and stay nestled in your thoughts long after listening.

SOLD OUT Spencer Erik Crawford and Max Paley (of That Damn Sasquatch) - August 22, 7:00 pm

Spencer Erik Crawford and Max Paley from local favorite That Damn Sasquatch seamlessly blend a fusion of bluegrass, zydeco, country and blues that sounds pure Colorado. So Colorado in fact that even former Governor John Hickenlooper has jammed with them in the state capitol building!

Relax as these multi-instrumentalists present an evening of thoughtful originals and eclectic covers that will leave you with a little hope in your heart.

SOLD OUT Dylan Miles - August 29, 7:00 pm

Dylan’s just a 14-year old kid that loves to rock. By the time he was three Dylan received his first drum kit. At the age of 6 he was given his first guitar then his focus began to shift. It didn’t take long for Dylan to be welcomed into the Denver music community. Within six months he was sitting in with local bands at venues like Cervantes Ballroom.

Dylan has also shared the stage with North Mississippi All-Stars, New Orleans Suspects, The Dirty Byrd’s and many more. Come and dance to some of Dylan’s originals and covers of funk, blues and rock!
