These are AEA auditions. Chorus singers and dancers must be an AEA member to audition.
The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will hold auditions for Once Upon a Mattress AEA ECC Singers and Dancers on July 6 and 7, 2024. The Arvada Center production will be directed by Kenny Moten, musical directed by Jordan Ortman, and choreographed by Christopher Page-Sanders. The Arvada Center's Artistic Director is Lynne Collins. The Arvada Center is located at 6901 Wadsworth Blvd. in Arvada, Colorado.
AEA Chorus singer auditions are July 6, 2024 from 10 - 11 am Women Singers and 11-12 pm Men Singers.
AEA Chorus dancer auditions are on July 7, 2024, the Women Identifying Chorus dance call from 10:00 am – 11:00 am and Men Identifying Chorus dance call from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm by appointment only.
Video auditions will not be accepted.

For AEA ECC Singers Call - Actors should prepare 16 - 32 bars from a song appropriate to the style of the show. Please bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. No recorded music.
For AEA ECC Dance Call - Actors should be prepared to learn and perform a dance combination and may be asked to sing after the dance call. Actors should prepare 16 - 32 bars from a song appropriate to the style of the show. Please bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. No recorded music.
A current headshot and résumé are required.
Equity members must present a current equity ID card at check-in.
This is an Equity LORT B production, non-equity actors will be considered.
