The Arvada Center Volunteer Council was established for the purpose of enhancing communication for both the Arvada Center Management and the Arvada Center volunteers. Representatives to the Volunteer Council are appointed by the Executive Director. The Council meets monthly to discuss items of interest or concern to the volunteer program. The Volunteer Council may expend funds for sanctioned activities related to volunteer recognition and/or activities that benefit volunteers.

We honored 18 volunteers at our annual Volunteer Reception for their hard work and achievement in total hours given to the Center. Adding to the 79 volunteers that have already given 1,000 hours or above, this year we gave out
- 8awards for 1,000 hours
- 7 for 2,000 hours
- 2 for 3,000 hours
- 1 for 5,000 hours
We also recognize the volunteers for their years of service and there are 73 volunteers that have served between 15 and 36 years here at the Arvada Center.
Our Volunteers have made a huge impact on the Center and we love and appreciate our loyal, hard working team.
