We also present Convergence: Painting with Music, an exhibition featuring the works of 20 national and regional live performances painters, and Amalie R. Rothschild, Live at the Fillmore East, a Photographic Memoir with photographs of rock and roll legends taken 1968 and 1971 by New York artist Rothschild when Fillmore East was the rock and jazz music capital of the East Coast. All three exhibitions, free and open to the public, run from June 10 to August 29, 2010.

Denny Dent was amazing to see painting in person. I saw him several times at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival. He drew a huge crowd every time and performed like a true rock star.
Can’t wait to see the exhibition.

What an amazing exhibit! Thank you very much for showing Denny Dent’s work and educating me on who he was and who he painted.

This was fantastic. My intro to Denny Dent came from our son who saw a video in school. He wanted to see it at home so I looked around and found a YouTube video of Denny at work. So sorry to learn he is no longer living. Will there be any shows w/his work in the NY area in the future? (It’s 2/15/21012)
