Frequently Asked Questions

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, tickets will be available for purchase at the door. Online sales will end at 11:59 p.m. on August 23. After that point, all tickets must be bought at the door. Ticket prices the day of the event are: General tasting: $35, VIP tasting: $55. General Admission (which does not include drinks) is $5, and children under 4 are free.


Where do I pick up my beer glass and/or wrist band?

All beer glasses and wrist bands will be distributed at the check-in table located at the entrance gate of the festival, adjacent to the Arvada Center’s Main Entrance. Look for signage. There will be a will call line for those who have purchased tickets in advance, and line to process day-of ticket sales.


Are tickets refundable?

Arts & Ales is a fundraiser for the nonprofit Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. All ticket sales are final. We do not offer exchanges or refunds.


Can I bring my dog or other pet?

Service animals are permitted and should be identified with a service vest or other wearable item. Please leave all other pets at home.


Can I bring my own food or drink?

This event is a fundraiser to support the Arvada Center, a nonprofit arts organization, so please leave all food and drink at home so you can enjoy the food and drinks at the festival. There will be plenty of food options, beer, wine, cocktails, and nonalcoholic beverages available for purchase.


Where do I park?

Free parking will be offered at the Arvada Center in bays B through G, and by the field below the Arvada Center. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle.


Can I purchase beer?

You may purchase full glasses of wine or beer at the bars located within the festival.


What happens if it rains?

The event is held rain or shine.


Is the event ADA accessible? Where is the accessible parking?

Yes. The event is ADA accessible with ample ADA parking available.


Will there be food or non-alcoholic beverages available?

We will have a variety of delicious food trucks, along with snacks and nonalcoholic beverages available for purchase throughout the festival.


Do I have to buy my child a ticket?

Children under 4 are free.


Is re-entry allowed?

Yes, re-entry is allowed. If you must leave, please keep your wristband on to be allowed back into the festival.


Is there an ATM on site?

Not within the festival. There is an ATM that is located just inside the Arvada Center’s main doors. Credit cards will also be accepted for tickets and by most vendors.


Can I purchase a ticket with a credit card?

Absolutely!


Will there be gluten free beer or cider available?

Wine and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the bar, and some breweries offer ciders and/or gluten free beer.


What should I wear?

Arts & Ales is an indoor/outdoor event. Comfortable, closed toed shoes are probably the best choice for footwear. Sun protection is recommended.


Will there be alcoholic beverages for sale at the festival other than the tasting?

Yes, you may purchase wine, cocktails, and beer at the bars located within the festival.


Will there be seating available?

There will be picnic tables throughout the event, but you're also welcome to bring a lawn chair to the festival.
