A unique blend of original music, poetry, and improvisation.

This collaborative concert weaves compelling new stories from the heart of our community with extraordinary tunes and harmonies, exploring contemporary issues of gender and inviting audiences to an experience of shared discovery.

Music by Corelli, Castello, Marini, Fischer, Leclair, and Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre. Featuring Violinists Lindsie Katz and Rafa Prendergast; Hayden Dansky, Poet and Spoken-Word Artist.

This event is presented with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra and Standley Lake Public Library.

About the Baroque Chamber Orchestra

Founded in 2005 and based in Denver, the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado is the Rocky Mountain Region’s only professional period-instrument orchestra. They are brought together by our passion for Baroque music and the desire to bring it alive for today’s audiences.

The ensemble’s imaginative programming strikes a balance between familiar masterworks and hidden treasures of the Baroque. In addition to a subscription concert series, the orchestra provides an innovative educational program focusing on musician development, youth outreach, and building the audience of the future.
