Stories and Songs to Celebrate the Season

Every family celebrates this season differently - whether through a special time to light the candles, singing of carols, or a special feast. In this Holiday Storytime program, we have assembled a collection of stories that celebrate a few of the ways that we rejoice in the season.

This program will hopefully open your eyes to a holiday that you maybe didn’t know before. That is the great joy of this holiday season - we can celebrate and learn. Cozy up with your family and enjoy these holiday tales.

Featuring performances and stories by the Kwanzaa Committee of Denver, actor Sue Leiser reading Hanukkah tales, Jim Hunt presenting a story for Christmas, and a special appearance by Santa Claus.
