This spring, the Arvada Center is pleased to present four theatre productions that you can enjoy wherever you are.

Watch the hysterical saga of one man working in Barbra Streisand's basement shopping mall, join in a live virtual performance of a new murder mystery with a twist, or sit back and listen to an audio adaptation of an American classic. We're also pleased to present Our Favorite Things: A Musical Retrospective, a revue celebrating 45 years of musical theatre at the Arvada Center!

Tickets for all four virtual productions are on sale February 4.

Buy tickets to multiple virtual performances and save! When you buy tickets to all four virtual productions, you'll automatically get 20% off your purchase.

Need To Know

On-Demand How-To

What makes something "On-Demand?"

An on-demand performance means it's been recorded before you see it, rather than performed live! After you purchase, you can watch these performances whenever you like and as many times as you like before they close. Buyer and Cellar and The Great Gatsby: A Radio Play are both on demand.

What is a radio play?

Our radio plays are audio-based theatre - like your favorite podcast, or an audiobook. Gather your family to listen together, or put in your headphones and enjoy on your own.

Because these plays are hosted on Vimeo, they will also be captioned so you can read along too. Keep your eye on the screen to read captions, or just sit back and listen. These radio plays will play on the device of your choice - your phone, tablet or a computer.

How do I access my on-demand purchase?

A link will be emailed to you either on the first day the play is available, or the day you buy tickets if you purchase when the play is open. The link will take you to Vimeo, where you can listen to the play at your leisure.

You can also access your account on our website on or after the first day the play is available. Your login information will probably be the email address you entered when you bought tickets, and you may need to change your password.

To make sure you don't miss communication from us, we recommended adding AC_Cust_serv@arvadacenter.org to your contacts. If you have any trouble accessing the play, please contact our Box Office at 720-898-7200.

Troubleshooting

Having trouble loading or playing an on-demand play? Many factors can influence video playback, including some that pertain to your computer or device. If you’re not getting the best viewing experience on Vimeo, you might want to try these simple fixes.

- Check your bandwidth

- Close excess browser tabs or applications

- Clear your browser cache

- Restart your router and modem

Live Virtual Theatre How-To

What makes something a "Live Virtual Production?"

Live virtual productions are performed live each night over Zoom, with the actors saying the words and living the stories as you watch them. You can buy tickets to a specific performance at a set time and date, and will need to access the correct link at that time to watch the show.

How do I access this live performance?

A Zoom link will be emailed to you the day before your performance date. You will need a Zoom account to watch the play.

You can also access your account on our website the night of your performance date. Your login information will probably be the email address you entered when you bought tickets, and you may need to change your password. If you have any trouble

To make sure you don't miss communication from us, we recommended adding AC_Cust_serv@arvadacenter.org to your contacts. If you have any trouble accessing the play, please contact our Box Office at 720-898-7200.

How will I watch this live virtual performance?

A live performance like Christie Con is presented through Zoom. You will need a Zoom account to watch the play.

The night of your performance around 6:30, turn on your device of choice. We recommend watching the play on as big a screen as possible. You'll need to log into Zoom and access the link for your performance. You'll then be connected to a waiting room where you will see preshow information and a link to our digital program. The waiting room will open 30 minutes before the start of each show.  You should connect no less than fifteen minutes before the show start time - we'll cut off "late seating" when the play begins.
